Description
NADAL® hCG Pregnancy Test
Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a glycoprotein
hormone produced by the developing placenta shortly after fertilization. In normal pregnancies, hCG can be detected in urine or serum as early as 7 days after conception. The hCG level continues to rise very rapidly, frequently exceeding 50 mIU/mL by the first missed menstrual period, and peaking in the 10-12th week of pregnancy in the range of 30,000-290,000 mIU/mL. With a diagnostic sensitivity and
specificity of over 99.99 %, our pregnancy rapid tests exhibit no cross-reactivity with other related hormones (hFSH, hLH and hTSH).
The NADAL® hCG Pregnancy Test detects human chorionic gonadotropin through the visual interpretation of color development on the test strip. Anti-hCG antibodies are
immobilized in the test line region of the membrane. If enough hCG is present in the sample, a colored line will appear in the test line region.
